Wedding Candy Buffett

YUMMY.....

Our Fiesta Wedding Celebration

Brian & I got married in Las Vegas Nevada at the Little White Wedding Chapel, December 19th 2009. It was a somewhat last minute, so not many people got to see our actually wedding. With this being Brian's first marriage he really wanted something BIG. With this being my 2nd wedding the last thing I wanted was BIG. So what we decided was we would do a fun quick painless, stress less wedding in Vegas and we would have a celebration later on when we had more funds.
The wedding was amazing. I loved it and each day I love it more and more. I will post some pictures in a new post just of that day later...4 Months later we decided to have our CELEBRATION!!! April 3rd 2010. It was a little stressful but it all worked out. I thank everyone so so so much for all of your help and hard work.

Dinner with Patty V

Last Thursday I had a dinner date with my dearest Patty. I got to see Patty's new casa. It is too lovely for words. I love her style, I love her colors and I love her. Patty wanted to cook a tasty dinner for us. At the store we searched and searched for pine nuts. She wanted to put toasted pine nuts on the chicken. We had to have the store clerk help us find pine nuts which should have been a sign not to get pine nuts!

To make a long story short. New house + New oven= an exciting night!!!
Patty puts the pine nuts in the oven on broil and 4 short minutes later, BLACK SMOKE!! The pine nuts are on FIRE! We don't know what to do and both of us being very involved with the City of Tucson Fire Department we called out dear friend Tommy. (Also we had no fire extinguisher, once again new house and not fully equipped.) He told us to take the nuts out of the stove and put them outside. Well if we opened the stove flames came blazing out. So finally after the fire went down some, Patty grab the nuts and took them outside. The house was FULL of BLACK SMOKE. It was BAD.

We headed outside to get away from the smoke. The radio in the house was on and the country song What a beautiful mess I am in.... played. Patty and I couldn't stop laughing. It was a fun night and it was great to laugh as hard as we did.
I did manage to take a photo after some of the smoke cleared!

why does my throat always hurt???

SO SO SO... it has been forever and I want to catch everyone up on the latest happenings but I am la-tired. This will have to do for now. Let me warn you this is really not a very pretty blog.
I have to get my tonsils taken out! Last week was not a nice week for my mouth. Red & swollen tonsils, puss balls on my tonsils, swollen tongue and sores ALL over my mouth. FUN TIMES!!
I had enough and I called my primary care physician, who is no longer my primary care physician because Carondelet no longer takes Atena... not to happy about that, he had been my doctor since i was little and darn insurance company took our lovely little relationship and broke it. Well after explaining ever so nicely to the front desk lady that I understand he is not my doctor anymore but he really should call me! My Dr called and said to go to my ENT- ear nose and throat doctor, Dr. Ray.
Dr Ray takes a look at my throat and says when do you want to get those puppies out. A little confused, I have puppies in my mouth?? well those puppies really need to go because the make my mouth hurt. So I will be getting those darn puppies out of my mouth sometime in August. Dr. Ray says that a tonsillectomy isn't for the faint of heart and I will be out for 2 weeks, YUCKS!!
So wish me luck around that time with my mouth puppy removal!
