why does my throat always hurt???

SO SO SO... it has been forever and I want to catch everyone up on the latest happenings but I am la-tired. This will have to do for now. Let me warn you this is really not a very pretty blog.
I have to get my tonsils taken out! Last week was not a nice week for my mouth. Red & swollen tonsils, puss balls on my tonsils, swollen tongue and sores ALL over my mouth. FUN TIMES!!
I had enough and I called my primary care physician, who is no longer my primary care physician because Carondelet no longer takes Atena... not to happy about that, he had been my doctor since i was little and darn insurance company took our lovely little relationship and broke it. Well after explaining ever so nicely to the front desk lady that I understand he is not my doctor anymore but he really should call me! My Dr called and said to go to my ENT- ear nose and throat doctor, Dr. Ray.
Dr Ray takes a look at my throat and says when do you want to get those puppies out. A little confused, I have puppies in my mouth?? well those puppies really need to go because the make my mouth hurt. So I will be getting those darn puppies out of my mouth sometime in August. Dr. Ray says that a tonsillectomy isn't for the faint of heart and I will be out for 2 weeks, YUCKS!!
So wish me luck around that time with my mouth puppy removal!

I have had a great experience today.

A wonderful man from SWG helped me, in a HUGE way!

His kindness has really touched me.

I started to cry on the phone when I was speaking with him.

I cried because of his kindness and as I type this more tears well up in my eyes and my heart is FULL!

I just was taken back by his understanding and willingness to listen, to care.

I wish my arms could have reached through the phone and hugged the crap out of him.

It is such a great feeling.

I truly hope that if I am ever in a situation to help someone that I take the time to listen and help them.

He has truly touch my heart and had help me out more then he will ever know.

Today the a man from SWG was my guardian angel!!!

I have tried to keep it on the down low but I am needing all well wishes, prays and good vibes my way.
I applied for the Border Patrol. I have completed everything and all I am waiting on is my background check and work history check. I am getting very discouraged. I haven't heard anything... I call and I don't get much information.
I really really want this bad and I am hoping to hear that they want me!!! So keep me in mind and crosses your fingers!!!!!

Total Body Fitness

Last night I started "Total Body Toning" Boot Camp at Reid Park. I was so lucky that is was an easy class. Even though it was an easy night it was still a little intense for me. But heck this is why I started this whole mess, to get in shape and push myself! I go to class Monday and Wednesday nights.

Planting Bouganvillas

Lets just start this off with a couple of facts...

I am a first time home owner,

I use to live in the sticks (meaning dig as you please),

and

If roots are in the way just wack the crap out of them with a shovel.

With those out of the way lets start with my story...

Saturday looked like a beautiful day to do some home improvements. I called my ever faithful cousin, Mindy. I wanted to paint an ugly table set that I have rotting outside, pretty funky. That is why I needed Mindy, her brain is pretty helpful in the funky way! We got some fancy spray paint and found our way to the plant section of home depot. I have always wanted to plant some bougainvilleas in my front yard to add some color. I purchase two bougainvilleas.

When Brian got home I let him know that we had to plant the bougainvilleas I bought. DOOM... We got one one planet and were just about ready to plant the last one... We thought we needed to clear the hole just a little more.... BOMB... HISSSSSS WE HIT A GAS LINE!!!!

The fire department had to come and southwest gas,they worked into the night fixing our VERY costly mistake. We had to be evacuated from the house. I am going to take the firefighters some cookies per my dads promptings but I am going to add a little Lindsey spice to the thank you... In the basket along with the cookies will be GasX pills with a little note saying thank you for helping me with my gas problem!!!!

My little sister and her family have made there way from Oklahoma to Japan. Oh How I will miss her. It is so funny the other night I was looking through my journal. Yes that is right I have a journal... just one and I am 26 years old. I read a couple of entries to Brian. One I read was about how ANNOYING those darn little sisters can be.
But oh do I love those annoying little leaches. Its a funny thing when the roles reverse. I remember just wishing they would just GO AWAY and LEAVE ME ALONE. Now they are both away, far away. It makes me cry and wish for frequent flier miles.

My meet up group...

As i have previously mentioned i have now joined meetup.com and with out any delay I started my own group. Its called ALL for Crazy, CRAZY for ALL. OK so I didn't start that group but I could only image how fun it would be... I might be the only member but it would still ROCK!!!!
Tucson Volleyball Group... (read this in a whisper, it makes it funner and this is not a suggestion) That's the real name of my group, TADA!!! (you can now return to your regular reading voice) did you know that I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!!!
With the group started I scheduled our first meetup! I made my cousin Mindy join my group because she LOVES VOLLEYBALL, too! It really works out well because we also love each other! So, this Saturday we went to our first meet up and we played volleyball. At first glances it looked as if you had to have a wiener to play. That was just awful because Mindy and I left ours at home! As the talented ones with wieners were showing each other there skills like jumping high and crushing the ball on a girls net with out blockers Mindy and I poked fun. I think i did the poking and she just laughed!
To my surprise we got to play... after the ones with wieners finagled the sign up sheet we still got to play. Lets just say not the best game I played but it was still fun. We lost that match and had to watch the ones with wieners all play each other. We got to play again and that game was so so much fun. I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!!! We also lost that match but it was a close one. And when the gym shut the lights out, a very classy way of saying get the HELL out! We headed to the parking lot. I was very surprised that the ones with wieners talked to us... well I did tell one he was socially retarded and Mindy nicely told them she was married and I let them know that I was a lesbian!
It was a very nice time.
P.S the ride home was pretty fun too... it is an easy equation for a fun ride home... my mad crazy driving skills + my forgetfulness + my wonderful sense of directions + the corollas amazing turning radius= good times!!!

I had to work today, which really isn't that bad... I am currently updating my blog and reading other blogs!!! But the thing that makes it super hard, Brian has the day off :( :(
We did met for lunch today. We tried a little Asian place by the house just to see if it was any good. It was OK and my stomach feels fine!!! You never know... I have had my fair share of not so pleasant tummy aches after trying somewhere new.
It was so nice to see him!!! AND one thing I really love about Brian is he doesn't care if I set next to him in the booth. We had to work on our booth sitting techniques early in our relationship with Brian being left handed and all, it made it difficult to get our grub on!!! With a minor adjustment we have gotten it down, we are MAD crazy skilled!!! I just love it!!! I can just sneak a kiss in the middle of chowing down with out running my boobs in the food in front of me if i was sitting on the other side of the table. the little things... Pretty FANCY!!!

Out of the box...

My friend Dore has sparked a hiking bug in my body. I keep telling my dearest Brian how I really want to start hiking, because I don't want to go alone!!! Brain says of course that would be fun but it never happens!! SO... I found this really cool website called meetup.com (go check it out) It is a suggestion not a command!! It has tons of differnent groups that meet and do some fun stuff! Like this group I joined that it going to skate country this month, FUN FUN!!!!
